January 1st 2026: the 5th generation

We are more than happy to announce that Swildens is entering into the 5^th generation. Since the start in 1958, the company has been taken over by its employees. The current employees Alex, Bart and Jan have made an agreement with the current owner Hans to become the new owners of Swildens. By this agreement, the 5^th generation of Swildens employees are becoming the new owners.

As of January 1^st, the company has been transferred to our responsibility. With this letter we want to inform you that we are more than pleased to continue our collaboration with you.

We would like to thank you as a long term manufacturing partner for your trust, support and loyalty and are looking forward to new business opportunities and growth in the coming years.

We also would like to thank Hans Rijkers, who took all of us on board during the years and has put all his trust in us as well for giving us the freedom to act and work. We had a very pleasant collaboration in a small but successful company, in a clear spirit of entrepreneurship.

We wish him and Elise the needed peace of mind and a good health to enjoy life at its best.
